Michael Rittenhouse - Senior Manager

Michael Rittenhouse is a Senior Executive with over 15 years experience with top 100 and emerging 3rd Party Logistics companies. His specialties are regional and global Business Operations, Retail, Technology and Supply Chain Management. He is widely known for implementing and executing practice improvement for global freight management firms.

Michael has a proven track record managing global transportation in process and solution design, as well as risk assessment and a variety of implementation methodologies. Previous to joining Cavallino, Michael was Director of Client Services for Aeronet, Inc and has held senior corporate positions such as VP Marketing for Velocita Worldwide, global executive level positions with Exel PLC Technology & Global Freight Management and Saddle Creek Corporation among others.

Jim Kinman - Managing Director

Mr. Kinman brings over 20 years of experience, with specialties in Supply Chain Management, Distribution, Fulfillment and Transportation Operations.

He has managed 5 operational sites/distribution centers, operating budgets of $55+ million, inventories valued at $95 million, 1400+ vendors, 8,000+ SKUs and workforces of 450+ people.

Jim's career spans leadership roles at the VP, Director and Senior Manager levels for organizations representing $1+ billion in revenue. He has held directorial positions at Michael Stores, Inc., Walmart.com, Duty Free Shops and KKC Logistics.
David Goodson - Managing Director

Mr. Goodson's specialties lie in Transportation, Operations and Logistics.

David has proven record of achieving significant cost savings and service improvements in both domestic and international transportation for shippers with expenditures in excess of $100 million. He is a former senior operating executive of three transportation companies, who possesses expert level understanding of transportation operations, costs, pricing, and service drivers. David served Michael's Stores, Inc. as VP of Transportation, and KPMG LLP as Director, Transportation Advisory Services.

David holds both a Master in Management as well as a B.A. (Economics Concentration: Finance) from Northwestern University.

Bill Schuman - Managing Director

Mr. Schuman has over 30 years of experience in supply chain management.

His specialties lie in Domestic and International Transportation, Logistics and Operations. He has held executive level positions with major corporations, owned a 3rd Party logistics company, and a specialized freight forwarder.

His entrepreneurial experience is reflected in solutions that are characterized by "do more with less" recommendations. He consistently implements solutions that increase revenue, reduce cost and improve service.

Bill was the founder and President of both Professional Logistics Management Co., a pioneer in the 3PL industry and Carson Transport, a freight forwarder that specialized in refrigerated LTL transportation of processed food products.
Tony Blasetti - Managing Director

Mr. Blasetti brings over 20 years of industry and consulting experience delivering high impact results for Fortune 500 companies.

Tony's specialties include Supply Chain Strategy, Transportation, and Information Technology Strategy, Selection, and Implementation. As a Managing Director of Supply Chain and Operations Services for KPMG LLP, he successfully led the development of a long term supply chain strategy for the three retail branches of the United States Military that identified over $170 million in annual cost savings potential.

He also led the development of a shared services strategy for a $3 billion consumer products manufacturer and distributor that identified opportunities to reduce annual operating expenses by over 14%. Tony holds a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering (with a Minor in Industrial Psychology) and a MS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
David Ballard - Managing Director

Mr. Ballard retains over 20 years of industry and consulting experience managing and transforming operations of Fortune 500 enterprises.

He specializes in Supply Chain Process Improvement and Business Operations.

David also has significant experience bringing a process improvement perspective to ERP implementations, Enterprise Integration Architectures, and Sarbanes - Oxley initiatives.

He has led the delivery of numerous local, national, and global high impact Business Transformation initiatives in the above areas resulting in reduced costs, improved efficiency, and improved key performance indicators for clients that include Boeing, GE, Honeywell, HP, and The Gap.
Bill Foss - Chief Legal Counsel

Mr. Foss is a Cavallino Board Member and is responsible for all legal affairs and company secretarial matters.

Bill has extensive legal experience most recently with of group of retail businesses owned by Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy started in the U.S. in 1998 on fast-track basis, including Sephora USA (leading edge retailer of cosmetics and fragrances with approximately 80 stores throughout the U.S.), e-Luxury.com (online retailer of luxury goods) and LVMH Specialty Retail Concepts (watches and sunglasses).

Bill has been responsible for legal affairs, in North America, Europe and throughout the Pacific Basin, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Guam, Saipan, Australia and New Zealand.

He has substantial international focus, including joint ventures and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act compliance. Bill also served on the Kmart Board of Directors post bankruptcy.
Robert Heller - Board Member

Mr. Heller has a distinguished record in business, government and education.

Bob's specialties are wide-reaching within the world of finance. His career history includes, most notably, President and CEO of VISA U.S.A. as well as his appointment by President Reagan to Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, where he served with both Chairman Volcker and Greenspan.

Bob holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley, and began his career as a Professor of Economics at UCLA. He has served on the Boards of the Fair Isaac Corporation (NYSE), Sonic Automotive Inc. (NYSE) and Bank of Marin (NASDAQ).

He currently serves as Chairman of Marin General Hospital in addition to several private corporations.

Tracy Kellerman - Chief Operations Officer / Principal

Ms. Kellerman is the Chief Operations Officer and Principal with Cavallino.

Tracy's specialties include Business and Financial Analysis, Business Intelligence and Project Management.  Tracy brings over 15 years of management, as well as deep business background that includes startup and development environments.

Her entrepreneurial drive and vision assists Fortune and Global 100 companies with exceptional know-how to shepherd and launch new products. 

Tracy has been with Cavallino since 2007 and is responsible for the management and oversight of all corporate operations.

Jon D. Kroon - Managing Director/Principal

Mr. Kroon is a Senior Operations Executive with over 25 years experience in the Consumer Retail industry.

His specialties include Supply Chain Optimization and Business Operations in mass merchant and specialty retail sectors. He has specialized skills in start-ups, turnarounds and growth situations and is known for leading organizations through periods of extensive growth, re-organization and rebuilding.

Jon has a reputation for taking on difficult situations that require strategic reassessment, complex multi-channel network development, organizational efficiency and cost reduction. He has a particular ability to assemble and develop teams that can then build the business, an important skill during company reorganizations and acquisitions.

Prior to joining the Cavallino team, Jon has held senior level positions at Target, Levi Strauss, West Marine, Payless Shoes, Frederick's of Hollywood and Savers.

John Rittenhouse is a Senior Executive with over 25 years experience with Fortune and Global 100 companies. He is widely known for implementing and executing performance improvements within complex corporations. John has a proven track record in strategic planning, organizational and operations infrastructure development, cross-functional process design and automation, productivity improvement, integration, implementation, and cost reduction.

He is particularly proficient at solving problems, reducing costs and driving positive change in organizations.  Previous to forming Cavallino, John was the National Practice leader of Operations Risk Management for KPMG LLP and has held senior corporate positions such as CLO/COO for Wal-Mart, global executive level positions with Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy and Target Stores among others.
